Winterthrone is a German one-man-project that plays very agressive-symphonic black metal with some industrial influences. From the German metal press, it sometimes was compared with bands like Limbonic Art, Lunar Aurora or early Emperor; Without lacking a strong individual character. The first Demo-CD, called "The burning Skies", received a lot of very good reviews in the German metal underground, although it was a low(no)-budget-production.Sometime later, the young label Nordstorm Productions released "Stroms of Wrath", a 7“ EP with a limitation to 300 pieces, that nearly was sold out, even before it came from the pressing plant.On this EP, Winterthrone could improve performance, sound and songwriting more and more.Now at the beginning of the year 2004, Winterthrone are writing and recording new songs for the forthcoming full-lenght release "Against all who Breathe
