One year after their formation (March, 2001), the band release their first demo "Eternal Rape", the same year, Serpent Soul obtains an excellent place in the Newcomercontest in Germany. Taking part in 2003 in the EMERGENZA Festival , where the band reaches the Semi - final. After some changes in line-up, the band record their second demo "Beyond humanity", released in March, 2004.

Serpent Soul is one of most promissory bands in German underground scene, with a extensive list of live presentations, delivering in each song a powerful charge of melodic Death/Thrash.
