The Mansion Of Soul Drain was established in 2002 in Finspong, Sweden by Marco Baas and Jeanne André.The first CD was created in the summer of 2002 and it was named "Anthems of sorrow". The theme of this record was to describe the life of an outsider, in this particular case a modern vampire. In the summer of 2003, the next CD was released, "Independent", listeners now begun to associate the music as Goth-metal.The band is now heading for a new record, which will be a full-length record. The music style has developed from a mixture between Goth and doom-metal to pure Goth. The music is characterized by low-tuned guitars, choirs and duets between male and female vocals. |
