Midwinter – that’s Black Heavy Metal: dark and heavy, but also melodic, energized and full of atmosphere. By using an immense metallic variety between Black, Death and Heavy Metal, this band creates an original, unique style on its own. The band’s lyrical concept carries the listener into sinister worlds, bizarre dreamscapes and the subconcious to confront him with his fears, dreams and hopes.Midwinter gave a first example of their work on their demo-CD Loss Of Light, which was released in the early days of the year 2000. This demo mainly got good to very good critics. Their first full-length album Astral Mirrors, released at the end of 2003, could finally convince media and metal-heads. These 11 supreme songs burn themselves right into the head. After years of playing live on countless shows, Midwinter builts up itself a name as a first-class liveact. Among other concerts the band played on the Dark Nights Of Metal-underground-tour in spring 2003 and is now well known in the metal-scene.

Their performance has less focus on darkness than on having a hell lot of fun on stage. Midwinter definitely will rock you!
