Melodic power songs – that is the musical concept from the musicians of Medusa’s Child.The group was founded in September 1999 by D.C. Crow (vocals), Tino Saabel (Guitar), Charlie Swan (Drums), Jens ”Jesus” Aurich (Guitar) and Rainer Popp (Bass) , that was the line up.In the year 2000 they released their debut CD “Awake”, and not even one year later their EP “Blue Roses”. Since then the group has toured, almost continually, clubs and music halls all over Germany, with the result of an ever growing fan community.After many TV appearances, various radio shows good positioning in diverse “Underground hitparades“ (Holland, Poland, Germany, USA, Portugal and Chile) and a successfully accomplished “Awake - Tour“, Medusa’s Child decided once again to go into the record studio.

The expectations of the fans and the specialized journals was accordingly great of the new CD from the “Power Metals“. With “Immortal“, the second album and the following tour, success has continued, more than they had wished for, or even hoped for.Moreover Medusa’s Child gets the best reviews of radio-stations, internet-magazines and metal-magazines all over the world.Medusa’s Child Fancircle voted then in Norway at the first place before Iron Maiden´s new album.And now Medusa’s Child is under contract with STF- Records and a new line-up ( J.J. Aurich - Guitars , Steven - Bass ) Atmospheric keyboards, variable, powerful – vocals, hard riffs, excellent drumming, all in all a successful excursion through various types of hard rock and heavy metal music.
