The band members have known each other for years and have played together in different bands before, but all had the influences and eagerness for the most aggressive kind of music.The first promo/demo-CD “Human Decay” was recorded in the bands own studio, “Hairy Bones” in the spring of 2000.The demo was chosen as “demo of the year” by Swedish Magazine “Close-Up”, and after just a couple of weeks the band signed for Scarlet Records (Italy). The debut album “Verdict of Posterity” was also recorded in their own studio, and was released worldwide by Scarlet in 2001. The album received very good reviews from magazines etc. all around the world.In the autumn of 2003 the vocalist Hugo left the band, and Matte Andersson, (Godgory, Graveflowers) was recruited as new singer, which has added a whole new dimension of sheer brutality and power to the band.In June 2004 the band entered the “Abyss” studio and recorded the new promo CD “No sanity left”, with Tommy Tagtgren behind the console, and the result speaks for itself, as can be heard on the CD.Now Loss is eager to get a new record deal, and get out there to face the audience live. The band LOSS is about pain, brutality and hate.It’s hard, it’s fast, it’s death, it will leave scars in your flesh.

Musically LOSS emerges from their previous constellation, in which they played a technical old school Thrash Metal. With LOSS they have gone a bit further and developed into a Death metal Band.However they don´t really set any limits. In their music the band go all the way from rather heavy parts, to ultra speed frenzy. A journey that takes the listener through brutal guitar - lines, two-stroke drums, enriching solos, and attacking double bass- drums. Add to this, a bunch of catchy riffs and growling vocals, and you´ll experience our tremendous LOSS.
